One of the most feared Submission Fighting methods is the ability to attack a standing person from the ground. The kinetic strength developed in this exercise is substantial. In the hands the grip is irresistible. Sunken elbows with pull flexors make for a formidable attack to uproot and unbalance. The balance in the v posture increase agility on the floor so much one can literally attack and defend against a mobile standing person who will find themselves very tired reaching or even set up to be taken down if they kick. In time the scarf drill becomes a meditative exercise. The breath becomes fluidly stilled. The mind becomes sharply focused. The emotions slide between moods of playful destruction.
